- We print on 230gsm acid-free, wood-free, pH-neutral, archival matte paper using premium archival pigment inks. In a nutshell, the paper is top notch and the high-level digital printing results in superior colour saturation.
- Our 8 print sizes fit standard metric frames, eg. an A3 print will fit a standard A3 frame.
- All prints include an off-white printed border that sits between the image and the edge of the paper. We think it looks fabulous and mimics a mat board but without the expense. If you don't want a border please let us know in the Notes section at checkout.
Off-white printed border widths:
A3 - 15mm; A2 - 21mm; B2 - 25mm; A1 - 30mm; B1 - 35mm; A0 - 42mm; B0 - 50mm; 2A0 - 59mm.
- When it comes time to ship we take great care with packaging because we've learned over the years that the freight process can be a little rough!
- We ship unframed prints internationally excluding our largest 2A0 size.
-
Australian made frames, done the right way. Natural, acid-free materials. Solid wood frames from local, sustainable sources. All backing boards are acid-free and our professional framers avoid MDF or any other type of reconstituted materials.
- Frames are delivered ready to hang.
-
White oak, natural oak, chocolate oak and black oak timbers available.
- Frames are 20mm wide and overlap the outer 5mm of the paper on all sides. The depth of the frame is 30mm (ie. the dimension of the frame from the wall to the front of the print).

- Our professional framers prefer cast acrylic rather than glass: it is lightweight, virtually unbreakable, has greater optical clarity than glass and provides your print with long term protection from harmful UV rays.
- Our framers will dispatch direct to you in professional packaging.
- We do not ship framed prints outside Australia.
- Note: Framed prints should not be hung in strong direct sun due to moisture in the archival pigment inks. If you have a sunny spot we suggest you opt for a stretched canvas or a canvas floating frame instead.
- We print on Bauhaus bright white canvas 380gsm which has a superior bright white matte surface with perfect colour control and clear texture.
- The canvas is a cotton/polyester blend. Polyester is added to give greater tension across the image so it doesn’t sag over time.
- The printed canvas is then stretched onto a pine stretcher bar which is strong, durable and from planted forests so environmentally friendly.
- All finishing materials used are museum grade and acid free.
- Our framer will dispatch direct to you in professional packaging.
- We do not ship stretched canvas prints outside Australia.
- The top end of our range - la crème de la crème!
- We print as per Stretched Canvas above and our professional framer then frames in your choice of timber placing a 5mm gap between the canvas and frame.
- This contemporary, popular style gives the illusion that your canvas picture is “floating” within the frame.
