An adaptation of an original 1931 travel poster designed by Frenchman Charles Hallo (who signed his works 'ALO') depicting sailing on the bay at La Baule in Brittany, north-west France.
ALO was a painter, illustrator, engraver and photographer who became best known for creating over 100 travel posters for railway and marine companies, including PLM, Chemins de Fer and the Red Star Line.
