A striking advertising poster for the Swiss luxury fashion house Bally, designed by Swiss poster artist Pierre Augsburger in 1961.
This vintage poster was part of a long-running advertising series for Bally that began in 1924. From the beginning, the company hired many of the best artists in Switzerland and later France to promote their product. Augsburger was one of the company's favourite designers of the 1950s and 1960s. It's been said that his playfulness and elegant touch was a perfect fit for the brand's Mad Men era clientele.
