Retro surf poster print for Burleigh Heads by Mornington Peninsula art director and surfer Tony Leishman.
Burleigh Heads Point is one of the Gold Coast’s most-loved surf spots. From shallow 'Sharkies' to stand up barrels through the 'Cove'. The Point is a long-walling ride that motors along a fine sandbar edge where - on a good day - five to 10-second tubes are possible. Along the edge of the Bluff also lies 'Rockbreak', a shorter wave, best at high tide and ridden mostly on smaller days. When conditions align, waves can form into epic 150-metre barrels.
Tony has been surfing for many years and has created a range of vintage surfing prints covering many of Australia’s best-known surf destinations.
