Retro surf poster print for Coolangatta by Mornington Peninsula art director and surfer Tony Leishman.
Coolangatta and her neighbouring Greenmount Beach are the beginning of the Queensland Gold Coast. From Coolangatta you can look back towards the Surfers Paradise skyline in the distance and the entire coastline. Coolangatta is very cool displaying some beautiful retro 1960s architecture including homes and hotels. And the surf can be spectacular, particularly off the northern corner of Coolangatta Beach, the headland around Greenmount, Snapper Rocks into the southern corner of Rainbow Bay and the world-class surf break of Duranbah. "D’Bah" is the one place you can be guaranteed of a swell when the rest of the coast is quiet.
Tony has been surfing for many years and has created a range of vintage surfing prints covering many of Australia’s best-known surf destinations.
