Retro surf poster print of the classic surf car the 1964 Holden EH by Mornington Peninsula art director and surfer Tony Leishman.
Stan Parker worked at General Motors in the US and designed the Holden EH in 1963. His inspired styling idea for the EH was to adapt the wide, flat rear pillar of the Cadillac onto the Holden that transformed the car from ordinary to high style. Australian's bought 250,000. A record never bettered. The EH is the classic surf car. Bad brakes. floaty steering. And unnerving in the wet. But reliable. Whenever you needed a surf it never let you down.
Tony has been surfing for many years and has created a range of vintage surfing prints covering many of Australia’s best-known surf destinations.
